Fuck those Fucks

There is a handful list of tv shows, not movies that I will call great. Let me run them down.

Entourage
Sopranos
Dexter
Californication
Lost
Life
Rescue Me

And The Riches, but who the fuck cares how good The Riches was. Who cares that Eddie Izzard rocked and Mini Driver was finally doing something watchable. Who the FUCK cares it won awards and was praised, lets just cancel the bitch. FX has a tendancie to yank our peters and run, look at "Over There", it was one season and they said FU loyal fans, FU. They keep toying with Rescue Me but we got it for one more season in May, 22 episodes, then we just sit back and see if they ruin something again.

FUCK YOU!!!!!!!

Movies

Some of these I am going to run through quickly as I am sure people (two who read this) probably seen them.

The Hulk:
The new one was very impressive, it didnt seem as childish, but they do need to get more into the action of the comic. I love the ending, I hope Downy keeps that role going for a while. I would be as upset to see Daniel Craig leave 007 and Bale leave Batman.

Star Wars Clone Wars:
I dont get into the star wars that much, so I assume if your a huge fan then this filled a small hole, but it probably made you mad with the childish jokes. If your not a fan and have a 7yr old that doesn't care less, then its perfect.

These last two I am putting the trailers on, they are both really good and just should be seen.

Calling all movie nerds!!!

Ok people, I have a hard one here, so I suggests pulling in all the resources. This movie I saw the second half of in Marlette and when it finished I got up and walked over to Paula's house because there was no way I was sitting in the house. If you have been lucky enough to experience Marlette and more specificaly the 6000 block of West Marlette street you will know that there is some vortex there that lets spirits, good and bad, roam freely. I know our house and two houses down at a friends mom's house (Paula) there was always activity. This is could be a blog alone and we could all share stories of our experience as I am sure my mother, sister, Ryan and anyone who ventured into that area would concur some freaky shit would take place.

On with the movie.

This movie was on IFC i am going to say around '98, but between 97-99 is safe. There were two little girls, sisters, I am guessing one maybe 10-12 the other 7 or so, the main thing is one was a little older. Now the older one was into or liked to play with supposed witchcraft stuff, I cant remember if she had a book or someone was telling her this stuff. I am not sure the era, they lived in the woods. One night the older sister, gets younger sister to go into the woods and try some spell, they formed a circle with something and had to stay in it. After they did the summons or whatever it was I remember them hearing, seeing or feeling sometihng and when they did the little sister stepped outside the circle. Now we go back inside, the girls tuck in a go to bed. The little one wakes up in the middle of the night, looks in front of her at a big bookcase and on top of it was this little goat, devil dude with horns just sitting there smerking at her, scary as hell. If I remember right she tries talking to him and then hears something in the attic. She runs up there and finds this angle with his wings torn off and blood everywhere, it seemed like she new him. Now this wasnt a cheap movie, it was really well done and if I remember right it was in english, not a dub.

Oh and if anyone has been in the house in marlette, they know waking up and seeing someone watching you isnt strange, thats why that part was so fucked up. I can personaly remember back to the old house in NB having someone peer in at me, but one of the people who did it in Marl wasnt as friendly. Maybe sis you would like to start a topic on this?

Find the movie fuckers, its driving me nuts. Ryan I remember coming over and telling you about this immediatly.

That time of year again.

I suggest to anyone who likes classical music or music in general to check out Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It works out good if your significant other has been wanting to see a play, musical or orchestra, because this doesn't border complete boredom. I snuck out last year and went to see it with a friend, its not a cheap show, but it does last a couple of hours. Its narrated like a story and mixes classical music with rock and a light/pyro show. The story was good, the narration fit right in and even the music I normally don't like to hear came out really good live. I am going to try and take Damian this year, funds pending.

Californication

I have never denied my man crush on David Duchovny, so you might think my saying that Californication is a must see might be a little bias. I would like to say put that all behind you and watch this show, I downloaded the first season before leaving and have been watching it non-stop. Current running shows, becasue Sopranos would lead all the time, on pay channels would have to be Entourage and Californication as must see's. David plays the character perfectly, no one else could have done it.

Me and Mr Lincoln

Well somehow I have found my way back to Lincoln Nebraska. At least in the past it was due able, even though I don't like to hang out with all my coworkers, they were here to communicate with if I wanted. When you are out teaching its a different atmosphere, you are somewhat in charge and it just seems different (hard to explain). Plus a lot of the times the students will take you out, or like my trip to Seattle I had a coworker whom I have never met, that I spent all week with. So here in Lincoln, where we are lonely little worker ants and get analyzed all day, things aren't as fun, honestly I don't know what I am going to do here all week.

The drive to flint airport was horrible, the roads where a sheet of ice and their were accidents all over. I kept calling the
hot line to see, hoping, that my flight was cancelled, but no luck. I thought to how bad it would be to send my car into a low speed spin, off into the ditch, just to avoid this trip.

One last note about the trip, I had a moment of, well having a heart, at the airport. I
don't mean for woman, because I fall in love every time I go to an airport. Actually I often think of a "ticketing system" that a friend and I thought up, that every year you get one license to have anyone you want. When you pick someone the ticket transfers to them, every ticket can be used twice or be redeemed for a cash value. There was a lot more to this, but for legality reason and in case i ever run for president, we should stop there. So I was waiting at gate A5 in Minneapolis, a gates is a wing that goes from A1 in the center to i believe A13 at the very end, which is a dead end. There must have been a late flight that was making people late for their connecting flight because people were running behind us on the moving walkway. About 5 minutes into the random running people I (we) heard someone making a terrible growling, huffing, death breath noise every couple of seconds. It was a heavy weight man, who resembled Al from Tool Time, wearing a hunting jacket, full beard and carrying a bag. He apparently was part of the late flight group and was making every effort possible to get to the connector. The noise and facial expression wasn't of exhaustion, but death, he looked very close to a heart attack. I made a story up for this man, father of 3 , happily married, never travels but brothers talked him into this hunting trip. He misses his family, doesn't like to fly and just wants to get home. His fear sets in when his plane lands late and the board says he next flight departs in 5 minutes. So he puts every effort into getting their, dreading the idea of spending a night in the airport, a night away from his family. I thought about Mr. Al the entire way here, tomorrow I will check the Minneapolis news, just to make sure.

And the Award goes to......

Your screaming, screeching, growls and moans. Your crazy hair, apocalyptic clothing, white teeth and permanent butt hole mouth. You could scurry like a rat, drink from mud holes and out-do Crocodile Dundee with the boomerang. To the future of button up shirts, name tags, jewelery stores, management and bad reunions.

TO YOU FERAL KID!!!!
