Epic Failure

According to Dassault Systemes (in your best French impression), you must achieve certain goals to become a Certified Dassault Instructor. Now, I already am a CATIA V5 Instructor for Technigraphics, but in order to be recognized by Dassault I need:

-Have 15 Days of Instructing
-Work for a Partner
-Attend a COE
-Pass the teaching competence course
-Become certified in Part Design Specialist, Assembly Design Specialist and Generative Shape Design Specialist
-Choose one Expert field to become certified in, Part Design Expert, Assembly Design Expert or Generative Shape Design Expert

I will more than likely work towards the Part Design Expert track. I have already completed the Part Design Specialist test and I am now recognized by Dassault. Today I took the Assembly and Generative Design test and filed them both. They got me, the first 10 questions got me, I had no idea what they were talking about. So this week while I am in Wichita I will study some more and go back at it again. I was hoping to complete them before my financial review came up in September, but looks like I have to wait.

I don't think this is epic failure. I think you should be pretty damn proud of yourself. The rest will happen.

Well I do appreciate it. My boss, team lead and a smarteam guy went to lunch and got a couple rounds of beer, so it helped the pain, lol.
