Ricky Gervais

i watched the golden globe just for him and it paid off. i dont get why people have a comedian host if they wont like the jokes. i almost pissed myself when he called tom cruise gay and when he introduced steve correl as a ungrateful cash cow for leaving the office i almost died. rickys jokes where awesome, i give him props for talking shit about someone right next to him. congrats on trent reznor for his first ever globe, winning for social network score.

I was writing this comment on my phone while finishing up the show. At the very end Ricky came out while they were panning out and he started to give thanks, thats when he left me with my favorite quote of all time.

"and I would like to thank God, for making me an atheist"

Takers

This movie looked interesting, but nothing I was jumping over. The first half was slow motion guys getting into cars, having drinks and just having fun. It honestly looked like a Vodka ad, guys looking cool with ultra smooth hip hop playing in the background. Beneath the stereotypical 2k MTV meets Michael Bay action film, it wasn't a bad story. It had hot bad guys and two hardened, child support paying, my partners a bad guy cops. I wouldn't rank it anywhere near bank robbery great films like HEAT or THE TOWN, but it was worth at least one viewing. It has Paul Walker in it, who seems to be the poster boy for these movies. I don't care for all of them, but I don't think he is a bad actor, in fact RUNNING SCARED is one of my favorites. We can be thankful for one thing, the genetic test tube Vin Diesel wasn't in it.

Buried

I just sat through Buried, better yet I squirmed through it. I am claustrophobic, I hate the idea of being in a tight place. I was watching one of my favorite shows Dirty Jobs one time and they had to crawl under a house to film a scene. It was maybe a 18" clearing and they kept getting stuck. I couldn't handle it, I would panic and probable have a heart attack. So I squirmed my way through this one, checking the time left, hoping it would end soon. Not because it was a bad movie, but I just couldn't get comfortable. It was a great movie, I think if I would have thought about it I could have guest the ending. I didnt though, I just sat and wondered what the hell was going to happen.

Dexter Season 5

Well for two days I watched Dexter Season 5 and it was awesome. I heard some people bitching about the addition of Lummen (Julia Stiles, whos hot), but I liked it. My only complaint was how Dexter reacted to her. He always wanted someone he could share his dark secret with and not have to kill them. It seemed like when he opened up to Lummen it was kid of anticlimactic, but the ending seemed right as if he had grown attached to her. Other than that I loved it, once again Dexter seemed on the verge of getting caught. I heard that him and his real life wife, who plays Debra (his sister), have gotten divorced. And in a interview about the divorce they stated they would continue to work together for one more year. I don't know how truthful this is, but does it mean an end to Dexter or his sister?

Catfish and Never Let Me Go

I can not say much about Catfish except to watch it. It is being sold as a documentary and the film makers stand by their word that it is a true documentary. There is a couple of online stories and a 20/20 interview, don't watch any of them. I don't think I have been so anxious and nervous about a movie in a long time.

Never let me go was love story set in an odd Europe where orphan kids are raised to be donors and they donate organs until they perish. It wasn't a bad movie, but not super great. It is one of those you just put in to watch if you happen to find it on TV or on the door step.
